Luke's Art

The grieving process is an extraordinary journey and unique for everyone.

When Sam Yates died, her husband Luke began to paint. For him, this soon became a way of sorting out a washing machine of tumbled up emotions. As a result he has been creating some beautiful artwork.

Dr Luke Yates is a cancer research scientist from Oxford University, he is currently working for Imperial College London and paints in his spare time.

As part of our Kickstarter project to raise finishing funds for the film, Luke has kindly agreed to make some exclusive prints of his Hampshire countryside oil landscape - Second Gateway. This is the painting that will feature in the film. For those able to pledge their support at a mid-level, a print will be yours to keep and frame. Luke has also agreed to create commissioned artwork as a higher-level reward. Please visit our KICKSTARTER page to find out more and pledge today.

Below are some examples of Luke's other work, you can also see more at his site ART-TRANSPLANT.
